Drop On In! After months of pitching, developing, and storyboarding, our team brought Tiana's Bayou Adventure to life in an unforgettable Disney spot! ✨ What began as the "Firefly Magic" concept evolved into a full 360° campaign spanning streaming, cinema, paid and organic social, and OOH. Designed to capture the adventure, charm, and heart of The Princess and the Frog, our goal was pure Disney magic—timeless storytelling, an exciting journey, iconic music, and of course, a happily ever after. Look out, Bayou—here we come! 🐸🎶
After we pitched and sold the "Firefly Magic" concept using my rough mockup, the Disney Yellow Shoes design team brought it to life with a more refined 3D-style execution. Led by Cristian Donoso, they collaborated with Beacon Creative to elevate the artwork, placing Tiana front and center in the ride vehicle to instantly convey the adventure that awaits in the bayou. This key art was then used across OOH, digital platforms, and Park guidemaps, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence.
After the launch of the main spot, we crafted a series of 'Drop In Moments' spots for paid social to celebrate the magic of togetherness at the Disneyland Resort! Each one captures the vibrant spirit of New Orleans through the soulful music of The Princess and the Frog and the adventure of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Here’s to those shared moments that make Disneyland unforgettable!
Lastly, for organic social channels, we kept the "Firefly Magic" alive with bespoke content featuring our iconic songs, glowing fireflies, and of course, the ride itself. My personal favorite was the Special Spice Sing-Along, a nostalgic nod to the beloved Disney Sing-Along Songs VHS tapes many of us grew up with in the ’90s.
